We have an exciting opportunity for a days based Electrical Maintenance Engineer in our small Engineering team working at our well-established site at Spondon, Derby. This role requires the ability to provide high level engineering technical expertise in all aspects of electrical maintenance and electrical system reliability work within the sites manufacturing environment. This covers a wide range of process areas such as heavy plant & materials handling as well as chemical process equipment and acetate film manufacturing.

This is a highly critical role within our Engineered Materials supply chain and requires someone with a unique array of skillsets ranging from strong business/commercial acumen, tech savviness, a strategic/process oriented mindset, with a mature and detailed understanding of end to end supply chain. Ideally this candidate has managed an SAP S4 HANA implementation from a supply chain standpoint and digital transformation projects involving SAP S4 HANA as the ERP.

Mitten im Südschwarzwald befindet sich unser Standort Utzenfeld. Hier entwickeln, produzieren und vermarkten rund 140 Mitarbeiter Polyamid-Compounds: Polyamid-Extrusionsprodukte, die mit verschiedensten Additiven und Farbstoffen veredelt und zu Granulat geformt werden. Unsere Kunststoffe aus dem Schwarzwald werden weltweit in den Segmenten Elektro/Elektronik und Automobil sowie für Anwendungen in Industrie und Haushalt in verschiedensten Produkten eingesetzt. Beispielsweise finden diese Kunststoffe Verwendung in Auto-Kühlerabdeckungen, Kabelverschraubungen, Sicherungen oder Schaltschränken.  

The role is reporting directly to the Maintenance & Reliability Leader, the Automation Specialist will have to develop the strategy of the industrial automation operating systems of the site to optimize utilization of resources and increasing reliability of the production lines. This role also have to carry out corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance activities of automation and instrumentation of the site, in order to guarantee a good performance of the production lines; avoiding unplanned downtimes ensuring safety procedures of the company compliance.
