    Responsibilities:

    • Develop new products and new applications for the Celanese TPC business
    • Provide technical training internally and externally
    • Support product business line and other functions regarding TPC
    • Support Customer Facing Team regarding customer requests and technical exchanges with customers
    • Support patent watch activities and identify patentable novelties

    Qualifications:

    • Good understanding of polymer chemistry, physics, processing (polymerization, SSP and compounding) and analytics/testing for TPCs (copolyesters)
    • Professional experience in product development, processing and applications in the area of TPCs
    • Professional experience with polymer testing and analytics of elastomers
    • Experience with customer interactions
    • Six Sigma experience
    • Preferably more than 3 years in the field of elastomers with focus on TPCs (copolyesters)
    • Science degree, preferably Chemistry with focus on polymers, preferably PhD
    • Excellent English and Italian language skills, verbal and in writing
    • Good computer application skills
    • Willingness to travel occasionally
    • Independent and collaborative working style
    • Engaged and results driven
    • Good communication skills
