    Responsibilities:

    • You will serve as a member of the Celanese EMEA HR Leadership Team and will provide overall direction in the development, communication and implementation of the Human Resources (HR) strategy, practices and programs for our EMEA Corporate Functions (including our Budapest Shared Services Center) and our Global Cellulose Derivatives business.
    • You will provide coaching, guidance and oversight in the areas of Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Leadership Development and Coaching in alignment and support of our Celanese business strategies and objectives.
    • You will work closely with senior business and regional leaders to support them in the successful execution of our business strategies, in a way that further cultivates our organizational culture with a focus on diversity, inclusion and a respectful workplace. This individual will also have accountability for driving strategic corporate initiatives across the EMEA region.
    • Accountable from an HR perspective for the EMEA Corporate Functions (including the Budapest Shared Service Center) and the Global Cellulose Derivatives business.
    • Contribute to the business strategy by helping business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
    • Drive the people processes (performance management, leadership and talent development, and succession planning) to ensure that employees’ level of performance and capabilities meet current and future needs of the business.
    • Leadership role in developing and executing effective Engagement Strategies across the EMEA region.

    Qualifications:

    • Clear understanding of the link between HR and business strategy
    • Ability to develop clear, actionable steps in support of an overall business strategy
    • Ability to identify new ways for HR to support the business strategy
    • Ability to engage, inspire, and influence people
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
    • Significant knowledge of HR policies and processes (e.g., workforce planning and talent management)
    • Business acumen
    • Around 10 years HR experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
    • Ideally you have experience in the Chemical industry
    • Experience working with manufacturing companies or shared service environment preferred
    • Experience working with labor unions or works councils desirable
