    Procurement Operations Intern

    Responsibilities:

    As a Procurement Operations Intern you will be working in a communicative, international environment at Celanese. In this position you will support the Procurement Operations team with everyday activities in the areas of Raw Materials, Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO), Logistics and Corporate Services and Logistics (direct/indirect spend).

    You will be responsible for the receipt of order confirmations (OC), attaching OCs to respective purchase orders (PO), updating delivery dates in the POs as per confirmations received. You will be notifying the Procurement Specialist (PS) and Requisitioner(s) of changes in delivery dates, closely working together with the PS to resolve delivery issues that may arise from any changes in requested delivery dates.

    You will be responsible for following up on POs still to be delivered as per weekly Expediting Report, and to prepare the Weekly open order report and other administrative tasks as required.

    Qualifications:

    You’ll bring:

    • Ongoing university or college studies (full-time student status)
    • Fluent English and basic German skills
    • Preciseness, detail-orientation
    • Tolerance of monotony
    • Willingness to learn
