Currently we are looking for candidates for the following position:
As a Tax Specialist you will be working in a communicative, international environment at Celanese. In this position you will be responsible for the preparation of VAT/ ESL/ Intrastat reconciliations. You will submit VAT data to advisors for VAT/ ESL filing or any other official filings, and intrastate data to other service providers for intrastate filing. You will be preparing payment requests for payment of VAT payables to EU tax authorities.
You will deploy your talents in supporting reconciliations for preparation of annual VAT returns, quarterly VAT account reconciliation for domestic/foreign VAT registrations. Your key responsibilities will also include supporting GL with VAT relevant items; and supervising VAT receivables/ payables with EU tax authorities.
Ideally educated to BSc level (preferably in Finance) you will have minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in VAT (or any other tax area) / Finance / Accounting. You will need demonstrable excellent planning, problem-solving and follow-up skills; and a proactive mindset. Happy working autonomously and prioritising and handling your own work, you’ve got the skills to work in a team as well.
