Currently we are looking for candidates for the following position:
Junior General Ledger Accountant
As a Junior General Ledger Accountant you will be working in a communicative, international environment at Celanese. In this position you will be responsible for US GAAP accounting, reporting and analyses of data and other ad hoc requests for information. You will be performing month-end closings, general ledger account analysis and Balance Sheet account reconciliations, prepare SOX controls.
You will deploy your talents in preparing and post journal entries and perform related account reconciliations; preparing and reviewing management reports and financial information analysis on monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Your key responsibilities will also include continuously improving closing processes and efficiency; and interfacing with external and internal auditors for PBC requests, process and account explanations.
Ideally educated to BSc/MSc level in Accounting you will have about 6-12 months of relevant professional experience including internships.
You will need demonstrable ability of good communicational and problem-solving skills.
