    Responsibilities:

    Responsible for balancing the short term and long term supply plans and inventory optimization for the assigned business lines within the Engineered Materials (EM) business segment.

     

    • Helps to operationalize the EMEA business strategy as it relates to supply, demand, and inventory of assigned product lines.
    • Involved in balancing the supply and demand for the business requirements by submitting a month supply plan (up to 24 months) for assigned product lines.
    • Drives the resolution of planned capacity to required capacity gaps in production for assigned product lines.
    • Develops innovative solutions to complex supply issues, highly collaborating with key stakeholders.
    • Validates stocking strategy of the assigned business lines and ensures alignment of master data to stocking decisions and agreed service levels as well as manages aged and aging Inventory in the region and works with the business line and global planning to maintain them at a minimal level
    • Approval of material requests for EMEA region and manages sales control in sold out situations
    • Ensures that plans provide for adequate service to customers in the form of on-time delivery and adequate lead-times.
    • Forecasts raw material consumption and ensures alignment of raw materials purchasing plan with up to 24 month rolling forecast and overall supply plan as well as raw materials inventory targets for assigned product lines

    Qualifications:

     

    • Formal supply chain and demand planning knowledge.
    • Subject matter expert in planning, scheduling, supply chain.
    • Understands and can challenge the manufacturing strategies and capabilities of the regional sites and plants.
    • knowledgeable about ERP concepts (demand, supply, MRP)
    • Strong analytical and excel skills
    • Can align with the regional business and plant level strategy and is able to translate that down to planning the supply chain
    • Can quickly and concisely state the problem (at the executive level) and identify root cause and solutions.
    • Can communicate at all levels (including the leadership levels).
    • Strong presentation skills to be able to present in key meetings and the S&OP process
    • Strong leadership & influencing skills.
    • APICS certification
    • Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
    • Fluent English
    • German skills
    • 3-5 years of experience
    • BA/BS degree
    • SAP or other ERP systems
