    Responsibilities:

    • Lead interactions with EM business on forecasting and actual result issues and processes primarily focusing on EMEA.
    • Financial modeling – supports short term and long term financial forecasting and various ad hoc requests.
    • Provides input for the analysis of the product lines’ financial position by maintaining and enhancing current forecasting models in EMEA.
    • Monitors financial metrics versus forecast and budget and highlights potential key business issues for EMEA.
    • Reviews month-end results by monitoring revenue, production costs and variable margin for EMEA.
    • Supports the preparation and review of earnings flashes, forecasts and budgets for EMEA.
    • Creates financial reports for POC decision makers.
    • Assists in the creation of POC budget.
    • Provides analysis on current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures, and presents these to the VP Finance & Treasury EMEA.
    • Assists in quarterly, monthly, and ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis, including those required for auditors for the European region.
    • Supports in the analysis of financial information and reports for EMEA to provide financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.

    Qualifications:

    • 5 years of experience in Accounting/ Finance/ FP&A
    • University degree in commercial field with focus on Finance
    • Exposure to upper management through projects and presentations
    • Exposure to all aspects of Celanese (Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement and head quarter personnel)
    • Strong problem solving skills and results orientation
    • Strong customer focus
    • Strong Excel skills 
    • Business acumen
    • Process Management skills
    • Fluent in English
