Responsibilities:

  • Develop supply and production plans based on the latest demand update for the Emulsion Polymers products in Europe
  • Meet demand requirements for monthly S&OP including available production capacity, shipping requirements, establishing monthly loading plans and  managing 3rd party supply
  • Manage supply schedulers at the European sites
  • Manage key raw material inventory to ensure that strategic goals and key working capital metrics are met
  • Manage distribution costs related to the monthly supply planning process (i.e. site supply sourcing plans and utilization of 3rd party tanks and warehouses)
  • Run planning scenarios to develop solutions to meet complex business needs
  • Lead projects to develop/improve processes, reduce costs and utilize Six Sigma techniques

Qualifications:

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply planning in a complex, multinational environment 
  • Knowledge of Supply & Operations Processes ideally within chemical industry
  • A few years of people management experienced coupled with strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Result orientation and ability to drive change in complex environments   
  • Ability to concisely communicate at all levels in a global environment
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • APICS/Six Sigma Certification would be of benefit 
  • Fluency in English and German
