Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of EHS programs to ensure 100% compliance with applicable standards and regulations
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and site policies
  • Support the development of site EHS objectives, roles and responsibilities and performance measures
  • Identify and implement initiatives to promote employees participation in EHS programs to enhance site safety culture
  • Manage site training program and conduct training classes for employees and managers related to EHS subjects;
  • Establish and maintain documented processes for hazard identification and risk assessment/management;

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science or related field or equivalent experience with responsibilities in the EHS field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience 
  • Knowledge of EHS related legislation and standards in a manufacturing environement  
  • Certified RSPP/ASPP as per Italian law
  • Experience in working in complex organizations with multiple reporting lines
  • Ability to interface with other departments and outside contractors or regulatory agencies in an effective and professional manner
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills
  • Knowledge of statistical and analytical problem-solving techniques
  • Fluent Italian and solid English skills
