Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is to execute the daily transactions for Raw Materials, MRO, and Corporate Services – to ensure reliable supply of goods and services. 
  • Execution of purchase orders in SAP, maintenance of purchasing information records,  invoice discrepancy resolution, expediting, general purchasing activities
  • Transactional responsibility for indirect spend relating to Raw material and MRO purchases
  • Ensure the reliable and timely supply of goods and services as per requested delivery dates
  • Create timely and accurate Purchase Orders, to maintain accurate information records, to follow-up on POs with suppliers (expediting), to resolve invoice discrepancies and other buying activities as required
  • Resolve internal and external issues related to supply and the Purchase to Pay (P2P) process
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities for streamlining work functions
  • Work closely with Strategic Sourcing Managers/Leaders on relationship management and issue resolution
  • To identify and execute savings opportunities within portfolio

Qualifications:

 

  • Fluency in English and Dutch is a must
  • German is a great advantage
  • University/College degree
  • In-depth understanding of P2P process
  • Familiarity with SAP transactions
  • Strong computer skills - MS Office Suite
  • Strong communication and report building skills
  • Experience in excel spreadsheets and formulas
  • Previous experience in the chemical industry is a great asset
