Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical service for Engineered Materials products: design and prototyping as per customer request, trouble shooting, and complaint handling
  • Support the identification of new business opportunities
  • Provide solutions and support in the field of material selection, part and mold design, polymer processing, and selected technologies
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for efficiency increase, cost reduction and customer satisfaction
  • Discuss technical issues and present recommended solutions, and demonstrate the performance of Celanese`s engineered materials products and services to customers

Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree in Polymer Science, Plastics Technology or other relevant field of study
  • Background in technical polymers, preferably with emphasis on polyamide and thermoplastic elastomers
  • Expert knowledge designing in plastics, injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, and other relevant technologies i.e. hot runner systems etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to explain technical terms to others
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Self-motivation and strong customer focus
  • Willingness to travel across Europe
  • Fluent in Italian and English, German skills a plus
