Account Manager - Distribution Management (m/f)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Driving revenue growth and margins of Celanese Engineered Materials product portfolio across different industry segments in Europe at major third party distributor 
  • Tactical execution of pricing actions and new product sales
  • Maintaining sustainable relationship with third party distributor and customers 
  • Project pipeline generation in line with company goals
  • Meeting budgeted growth targets
  • Accurate customer demand forecasting
  • Working with internal functions (Customer Service, Logistics, Demand Planning, Product Management, R&D) to ensure business meets customers' on-time delivery, service and quality needs

Qualifications:

  • Academic degree in Engineering or a Commercial field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales and account management experience, ideally in the chemical or plastics industry
  • Understanding of distribution strategy and trade flows in the industry
  • Experience in executing pricing strategies
  • Ability to identify and proactively pursue new opportunities
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Europe 
  • Fluency in English, German skills a benefit
