Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

  • Lead the Continuous Improvements Specialists to deliver automation based process improvement solutions, support local and global projects and provide trainings across the globe.
  • Act as an ambassador of improvement culture across BBSC by actively searching for opportunities for standardization, simplifications and automation. 
  • Offer professional level project and change management service locally and globally supporting process improvements, transition projects and M&As. Proactively support the 3 centers’ process improvement efforts providing full scale Continuous improvement services from opportunity identification and measurements to solution delivery and sustainability. 
  • Provide technical support and deliver automation based process improvement solutions to functions globally inside and outside of Shared Services. Deliver soft-skill and technical trainings globally which are required by the various functions.

 

Areas of Responsibility:

 

  • Set goals and objectives working together with Continuous Improvements Specialists
  • Understand Customer needs, distribute incoming requests and coordinate the delivery of the services
  • Address team motivation and develop team members
  • Hold regular status meetings with staff and supervisor
  • Provide application specific and/or expert trainings from the CPI training portfolio, to audiences within and outside of BBSC
  • Enable automations by continuously developing automation experts and deliver solutions according to IT Automation concept and following the CPI Agile methodology practice
  • Work together with IT BRMs on planning, executing and delivering automations in order to ensure implementation of successful and sustainable automations.
  • Provide project and change management support for projects impacting or involving BBSC and other Celanese Entities globally
  • Work as a senior project lead or team member for BBSC Pipeline projects, to ensure effective stakeholder communication and buy-in, end user engagement and training prior and post roll-out of new processes and technical solutions.
  • Support BBSC Improvements culture by developing a pool of innovation experts capable to deploy standard innovations toolkit in delivering various innovation ideas from opportunity identification to saving realization
  • Act as a key player, when it comes to building and maintaining a project management and improvement community within and outside of BBSC
  • Participate in trainings requested by supervisor to enhance business / technical knowledge.
  • Report to supervisor on progresses made on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

  • Project and change management experience (2-3 years)
  • Good spoken and written English language skills
  • 1-2 years SSC functional experience
  • Leadership experience is an advantage
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, good presentation skills
  • Experienced user of the improvements tools (Celanese Improvement certificate is an advantage)
  • Good time management, hands-on organization skills
  • Good networking and demonstrated client focus
  • Ability to work effectively in an international environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong technical skills - especially MS Excel, SAP is an advantage
  • SharePoint portal and Visual Basic for Applications programming experience is an advantage
