Responsibilities:

  • Surveilling and enforcing the correct application of Italian law (D. Lgs 81/2008) health & safety requirements in the assigned department
  • Managing information related to quality and productivity for the department;
  • Conducting EHS process audits and inspections, and identifying and/or recommending improvements
  • Supporting development and implementation of EHS programs to ensure 100% compliance with applicable standards and regulations
  • Conducting field training related to quality, 5S and EHS subjects to department employees and supervisors

Qualifications:

  • Technical high school or bachelor´s degree in Safety, Environmental Science or related field or equivalent experience with designated responsibilities in the EHS field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in complex organizations ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interface with other departments and external, contractors or regulatory agencies
  • Excellent communication and strong written and oral presentation skills
  • Knowledge of statistical and analytical problem-solving techniques
  • Preferably ASPP certification and knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts
  • Fluent in Italian and English
