P2P / Procurement Operations & Project Management Specialist

Overview:

This position is responsible for driving innovation and the implementation of improvement ideas—from conception through execution—in the area of procurement, and requires the ability to manage multiple departments, including cross-functional collaboration. Works closely with IT BRMs and other OPEX organizations of procurement stakeholders. Drives and leads the company´s upgrade strategies in identifying business benefits. Sets and drives internal quality standards. Supports the planning and coordination of all initiatives managed by OPEX team. Provides support for project pipeline maintenance and coordinates procurement project leaders, including those responsible for corporate projects.

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

• Driver of creation and improvement of departmental policies, training documents and performance metrics
• Serve as a liaison and communication channel between the operational team and business leaders
• Responsible for generating ideas and leading process improvement projects
• Proponent of standardization efforts across regions and sub-functions
• Training, support & functional coaching for super users
• Ideation and maintenance of procurement project pipeline
• Solution discovery, analysis and implementation
• Supports the procurement team and can drive onboarding of new Opex member
• Provides guidance, helps in case of issues for procurement Opex members who are new in the team or have less experience

What YOU will bring to the team:

• Deep understanding of the procurement/P2P processes
• Generate ideas and lead process improvement projects
• Proponent of standardization efforts across regions and sub-functions
• Training, support, and practical guidance for super users
• Design and maintenance of the procurement project portfolio
• Solution discovery, analysis and implementation
• Solving/troubleshooting abilities and follow-up skills to perform complex issue resolution
• Ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels within the organization, as well as external parties
• Ability to complete activities and accomplish objectives independently
• Experience in project management and process improvements implementation (six sigma, agile, lean or similar methodology is an advantage)
• Experience in reporting and data analysis
• Ability to translate functional business requirements into technical ones
• Fluent in English
• German language knowledge or other European language is a plus
• Proven data entry, manipulation skills
• Experience in SAP PS4, PBI, Ariba, Microsoft Excel
• University degree is an advantage
• At least 3 years' experience at Opex, in Project and Change management
