Overview:

Celanese is looking for a Production Leader to drive flawless daily execution across our 24/7 and Core teams. In this role, you’ll help translate unit strategy into action, strengthen team engagement, and ensure resources, priorities, and performance are aligned to SQRE (Safety, Quality, Reliability, and Environmental) objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate 24/7 and Core teams to achieve our 4 core principles.
  • Execute the site plan and support daily operational excellence.
  • Review daily KPIs, identify gaps, and assign actions to close them.
  • Ensure resources, raw materials, supplies, and technology are available to support production.
  • Coordinate daily operations to support Safety, Quality, Reliability, and Environmental (SQRE) goals.
  • Continuous Improvement, Identify and implement improvements in processes and procedures, leveraging Lean techniques.
  • Partner with Learning Facilitators, Stewardship Leaders, Asset Leaders, and Technology Leaders to remove barriers and develop the team.
  • Conduct walkthroughs, reinforce best practices, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain a strong culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Understanding of unit needs, strategy, and operational objectives.
  • A focus on operational learning.
  • Strong decision-making and root cause analysis skills.
