What YOU Will Do:

In this role, you will be a key technical expert supporting NEOLAST™ product development and adoption across the global textile value chain.

Location:

This position may be based at any of our offices or facilities in Europe. Preferably at our European headquarters in Meyrin.

Responsibilities:

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

 

  • Design, plan, execute, analyze and report experimental projects to help in the process and product development of Neolast grades, yarns and fabrics at internal labs or external customers and partners. 
  • Provide hands‑on technical support throughout NEOLAST™ yarn qualification, ensuring smooth adoption and high-quality output.
  • Lead product validation and testing, supporting spinners in achieving consistent, high-quality performance through best practices and clear documentation.
  • Develop and deliver training materials for customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sustainability and reduce environmental impact in textile processes.
  • Work closely with business and commercial teams to connect customer needs with technical insights.
  • Collaborate across the full value chain with spinning partners, knitting mills, garment designers, and apparel brands.

Qualifications:

What YOU will bring to the team:

 

  • 5+ years of hands‑on technical experience in the textile industry, with strong expertise in melt‑spun fibers, their processing and conversion into fabrics.
  • Deep understanding of fiber and polymer structure–process–property relationships.
  • Knowledge of fabric manufacturing (e.g., knitting, weaving, covering), fabric design, dyeing, and finishing—preferably with elastic yarns.
  • Solid technical understanding of textile production processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with global customers and partners.
  • Ability to work effectively in international, cross‑functional teams and collaborate across diverse technical and cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong ability to independently plan, execute, and document meaningful technical work for problem‑solving and product development.
  • A proactive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn and step into new challenges.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%.

Strong Pluses:

  • Understanding of working principles of other polymer conversion processes (e.g. extrusion, injection molding, etc).
  • Experience with experimental design; Six Sigma training or certification.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
