Overview:

The Sales Incentive Program & Data Governance Expert is responsible for the implementation, execution, and control of Sales Incentive Plans (SIP) and the governance of SIP critical master data, acting as the functional bridge between the business and IT. The role interacts closely with commercial leaders to ensure accurate SIP setup and assessments and serves as the primary point of contact for guidance, questions, and escalations related to SIP execution.

Responsibilities:

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

 

•SIP System Implementation & Validation:

•Translate SIP designs into detailed functional requirements and calculation logic for IT
•Develop calculation and control models and guide IT through configuration
•Execute end‑to‑end testing, parallel validations, and confirm go‑live readiness

Master Data Governance & Controls

•Own operational governance of SIP‑critical master data across, i.e.
•SFDC (hierarchies, roles, licenses, reporting tags)
•SAP (X‑Partner creation, updates, governance)
•Org structures and cross‑system alignment
•Enforce approvals, data consistency, and governance standards

Commercial Interaction & Communication

•Work closely with commercial leaders to ensure accurate SIP setup and assessments
•Issue guidance communications and act as the primary point of contact for SIP questions, clarifications, and escalations

Period Close, Exceptions & Audit Support

•Perform post‑period assessments and manual calculations (e.g. pro‑rations, system gaps)
•Manage goodwill requests and document decisions
•Prepare audit reports, analyses, and documentation, and outline key findings

Qualifications:

•Experience in complex, rules‑based operational or analytical roles
•Hands‑on exposure to system implementations, testing, or validations
•Familiarity with data governance or master‑data–driven environments
•Ability to translate business requirements into system logic
•Advanced Excel skills, including complex models, macros/VBA and control calculations
