Overview:

Primary responsibility is to execute the daily transactions for Raw Materials, MRO, and Corporate Services – to ensure reliable supply of goods and services.  Execution of purchase orders in SAP, maintenance of purchasing information records and other purchasing master data. Invoice discrepancy resolution, expediting, general purchasing activities.  Fully competent professional, who possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of a specific field in Procurement, (MRO/RAW Material/Corporate Service)  who can identify and implement cost saving and operational improvement opportunities. The Specialist act as a go to person in process related questions in the team.

Responsibilities:

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

 

  • Receive, examine, and process purchase requisitions. Ensure full compliance with Celanese processes and policies.
  • Create purchase orders, follow up on approval and acknowledgement of them
  • Follow up on purchase orders to ensure products are delivered in a timely manner
  • Maintain purchasing master data
  • Generate saving under 10k
  • Use and coordinate Quality Notifications for issues resolution and process improvements
  • Work within the team for the success of the objectives
  • Work with Strategic Sourcing Managers/Leaders on relationship management
  • Issue resolution both with the team and suppliers
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with suppliers and Strategic Sourcing Managers/Leaders to resolve transactional and invoice related issues
  • Able to learn and adapt to standard and efficient processes within P2P, contribute to new standardization efforts
  • Identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities to continue to streamline functions
  • If needed, manage smaller projects independently
  • Work on automation of raw material/ MRO orders, increase efficiency
  • Integration of newcomers/interns
  • Organise and provide training or work-shadow for the new joiners or in case of any need
  • Capable to resolve internal and external issues related to supply and the Purchase to Pay (P2P) process

Qualifications:

  • Fluent German and English knowledge are mandatory
  • Broad knowledge of SAP transactions
  • Excellent understanding of procurement process, good understanding of the connecting departments activities
  • Good communication both written and verbal, able to communicate with multiple levels within the organization
  • Perform complex issue resolution
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Proactive, problem solver attitude
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ability to effectively communicate and interact with personnel at all levels
