Optimize Production Planning at Celanese (Global Chemical Leader)

Leverage your analytical expertise to enhance our toll manufacturing network performance and drive supply chain excellence across European operations.

Your Impact:

  • Lead sophisticated production planning for external manufacturing partners
  • Implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency
  • Serve as the critical link between planning, procurement, logistics, and manufacturing
  • Drive inventory optimization across multiple locations

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

  • Develop comprehensive production schedules aligned with master supply plans
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of scheduling metrics and lead root cause investigations
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to optimize production scheduling
  • Manage strategic stock transfers while maintaining optimal inventory levels
  • Develop and track KPIs to achieve inventory and service level targets
  • Maintain scheduling master data in SAP and Blue Yonder
  • Build strategic relationships with tolling partners

Qualifications:

What You'll Bring

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations or supply chain planning
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel, with planning systems experience
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with ability to identify trends and implement improvements
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with data-driven decision-making
  • Fluent German and English communication skills
  • Experience in chemical or process manufacturing preferred
