Overview:

Position Summary:

 

Develop and implement AP related process and cross functional improvements in accordance with P2P projects. Develop business specifications and implement system enhancements. Support all corporate initiatives that impact the P2P. Manage a team of OPEX Specialists/Advance Specialists/Senior Specialist.

Responsibilities:

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

 

  • Ensures proper staffing, development and motivation of personnel
  • Handles personnel actions including performance evaluation
  • Ensures OPEX team can deliver technical solutions, 2nd level software maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and coordination
  • Continuously and proactively improves (cross-)departmental efficiency, standardize processes, eliminates "waste", focus on value add tasks with key focus on delivering quality improvements in own area but ready and willing to look beyond & into connected/upstream/downstream functions
  • Assists management in identifying and analyzing options and recommends business process enhancements.
    Ensures all processes work according to the pre-determined goals identified.
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationship with participants of P2P process flow, has regular contact with main stakeholders and partners (Treasury, MD, OPEX teams, Procurement Operations, Accounting, Logistics, IT BRM)
  • Plans and coordinates various projects and M&A’s with senior leaders
  • Builds, maintains and coordinates the AP Superuser network. Accountable for continuous training and coaching to ensure ready now candidates exist for future staffing needs of OPEX
  • Ensures OPEX can deliver ad hoc/project reporting; develop, document and hand over recurring reports and can perform various data mining and analytical tasks

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Shared Services experience
  • End-to-end understanding of P2P processes
  • People management skills, coaching others in their development
  • Ability to lead projects, meeting timelines and deliverables
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to provide professional guidance to team members, resolve complex problems
  • Role Model for peers and colleagues
  • Ability to liaise with other departments such as Procurement, Logistics & Supply Chain counterparts
  • Pro-active attitude, continuously seeking ways to do things better, faster, more efficiently
  • Fluent English 

 

Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

 

  • Networking and negotiation skills
  • Accounting experience & university degree is an advantage
  • Other European Language knowledge is an advantage
  • Existing experience in supervising teams in a Shared Services environment is an advantage
