We are looking for an HR Generalist for our Frankfurt-Höchst location.

 

You will provide high-quality HR services to the Nutrinova manufacturing locations in IPH, Frankfurt - currently comprising 120 employees, with anticipated growth as the company scales operations. You will oversee all aspects of the Human Resources function at the plants - including talent acquisition, learning and development, rewards and recognition, employee engagement and HR policies - working closely with the plant management to ensure HR plan implementation.

 

The role reports into the HR Leader in Amsterdam with a dotted line to the Manufacturing Leader. Work experience in a manufacturing / unionized environment is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the talent acquisition process, working with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions, to ensure the acquisition of top talent.
  • Support the people processes (performance management, leadership and talent development, and succession planning) to ensure that employees’ level of performance and capabilities meet current and future needs of the business.
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policy
  • Coordinate HR administration functions and payroll
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
  • Manage the relationship with the Works Council, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on relevant HR and organizational topics
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on various employee relations matters, promoting positive working relationships, resolving conflicts and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Support HR initiatives and relevant projects, assisting the business to achieve objectives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5-9 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HRBP role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with a deep understanding of HR policies and practices.
  • Good understanding of tariff agreements
  • Employee relations experience, combined with strong legislation knowledge
  • Experience in compensation & benefit and perfomance management
  • Experience working with labor unions and works councils
  • Fluent in German and English language
