Conduct global audit assignments and participate in complex projects by following audit protocols. Audit assignment may cover areas such as risk management, controls and governance processes, including operational audits, financial or accounting related audits, capital project reviews, and compliance with laws and regulations. The position provides great exposure opportunities throughout the organization across various levels as well as extensive training opportunities.
YOU will be involved in the following tasks:
• Assist with identifying and assessing risks, support the development of audit programs, test key controls and develop process improvement recommendations
• Assist with planning, organizing and executing audit work – including, but not limited to observations, interviews, analytical procedures, and detailed testing of data
• Execute the audit program during the audit fieldwork; prepare workpapers and walkthroughs in line with the audit protocols
• Assist the SOX coordinator with controls, analysis of key business processes and maintenance of process flowcharts
• Assist with coordinating and performing regional SOX and key controls testing throughout the year.
• May require international travel approximately 30%
What YOU will bring to the team:
• 1-3 years of experience preferably in internal or external audit or at least at two different teams/departments/business lines at a shared service center and/or at a multinational organization or international accounting firm (Big Four)
• Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
• English is a must, fluent in other languages, such as Italian or German is a plus
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word), familiarity with SAP is a plus
• Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Collaborative approach and ability to build relationships across organizational levels
• Ability to document relevant facts to support audit testing
• Own and maintain all assigned tasks including tracking of progress and completion
• Must have ability to multi-task, and provide attention to detail
• Must be proactive and willing to learn, understand and apply new technologies and systems
• Ability to effectively communicate with a global team and interact with personnel at all levels throughout the organization
