Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our Engineered Materials team, focusing on the Medical & Pharmaceutical sector. This role will manage strategic accounts across the UK and Ireland, including Design Houses, CDMOs, and OEMs, driving growth through innovation, collaboration, and customer-centric solutions.

This position is located remotly and can be based out of the UK or Ireland.

Responsibilities:

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

Account Management & Growth

  • Serve as the primary contact for key medical accounts
  • Develop, coordinate and execute  strategic account plans
  • Conduct regular customer visits, manage sampling, and lead commercial negotiations
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility

Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and new accounts
  • Promote new product introductions and technical solutions
  • Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to support customer projects
  • Leverage internal networks to translate corporate strategies into customer value

Value Creation & Commercial Excellence

  • Gather market intelligence on pricing, volume, and share
  • Maximize value capture through strategic pricing and growing existing businesses
  • Maintain account data and activities in Salesforce

Qualifications:

What YOU will bring to the team:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Business
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in medical or highly regulated technical industries
  • Proven track record in key account management and business development
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
  • Willingness to travel within the UK/Ireland and occasionally across Europe
