At Celanese, we believe our people are the key to our success. As we continue to grow globally and optimize how we serve our employees and partners, we are looking for a Supervisor, HR Shared Service Operations to join our HR Operations Team in Asturias.

This role combines hands-on HR operational delivery with team supervision and process excellence. The ideal candidate brings not only expertise in HR shared services but also a proactive mindset for continuous improvement, people development, and stakeholder partnership.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a team of HR operations specialists to ensure timely and accurate delivery of end-to-end HR services across multiple EMEA countries.
• Ensure consistent execution of HR processes such as Onboarding, Offboarding, Employee Changes, Employment Verification, Contract Administration, Time & Attendance, and Benefits.
• Serve as a senior point of contact for escalated employee or stakeholder inquiries via the HR ticketing system.
• Foster a strong team culture focused on accountability, continuous learning, and employee experience.
• Drive operational excellence by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing standardized procedures.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders such as Payroll, Compensation, Legal, Talent Acquisition, and Global HR Operations.
• Monitor workload, service quality, and SLAs to ensure team performance meets expectations.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to team members.
• Participate in and support global and regional HR transformation projects.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience leading an HR Shared Services or HR Operations team in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Native or professional proficiency in Hungarian or Dutch is strongly preferred. Proficiency or fluency in French or Italian is also valued.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong stakeholder management skills with proven ability to build trust across teams and geographies.
• Experience working with HRIS systems such as SuccessFactors and ticketing tools like ServiceNow.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
• Continuous improvement mindset, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
