YOU will be involved in the following tasks:
·Develop and implement effective regional or global category strategies for Indirect Procurement specifically MRO and increase reliability and productivity
·Responsible for negotiating contracts and assuring that assigned spend categories are purchased at the lowest possible total cost
·Assess near- and long-term plans with suppliers to address business needs; consult with stakeholders to develop alternative solutions; advise on options, risks, total cost of ownership, and business impacts
·Establish a collaborative relationship with suppliers and seek out opportunities within supply base; Act as the internal point of contact for supplier management, regular supplier meetings and implementation of improvement strategies with suppliers
·Establish a strong network with internal customers in the sites and other internal departments
·Ensure activities align with global indirect procurement team. Develop and implement joint sustainable procurement strategies where possible
·Deliver productivity cost savings year over year on key categories, communicate internally and lead the resolution of supplier performance issues, and identify/manage improvement opportunities
·Support Integration of new supply chain activities
·Oversee and manage all supplier relationships within the mode of transport/service
·Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for delivering best value (lowest Total Cost of Ownership)
·Work cross functionally to understand business objectives and challenges and create aligned logistics strategies
·Deploy standards by which new logistics providers are qualified, assessed and monitored
·Contribute and drive Costs Improvement initiatives
·Provide analytical support to the Logistics Procurement EU Team
·Participate to Customer Satisfaction and Quality improvement projects
