Overview:

This role is responsible for supporting and managing certain key aspects of implementation of the new warehouse network model for EM.  This role is   responsible to lead or participate in projects or lead project sub teams to stand up new warehouses, expand existing warehouses,  design & improve system and process effectiveness, provide logistics expertise and develop solutions to enable smooth transition from existing network.  They may also lead and/or participate in process and system improvement to gain productivity and efficiency.  This role should specialize in Warehousing, Logistics & Distribution and related SC disciplines.

Responsibilities:

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

  • Key member of global network optimization team
  • Design key aspects warehouse infrastructure to meet long term goals.
  • Partnering with manufacturing team to enable manufacturing sites to be ready to transition logistics to the new network model.
  • Lead execution towards startup of new or expanded warehouse operations.
  • Co-develop, monitor, and action key performance indicators.

Qualifications:

What YOU will bring to the team:

 

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abiliities:

  • 5+ years' experience in  Logistics & Distribution
  • 3-5  years' experience in related disciplines
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP ERP system and TMS
  • Advanced knowledge of project management & change management
  • Advanced knowledge of LEAN & continuous process improvement
  • Ability to collaborate & build productive internal & external working relationships
  • Competent in CE leadership competencies
  • Fluent in written & spoken English
  • Flexibility to work late (when needed)
  • Willingness to accept assignments (per business requirements)

 

Desirable Skllls/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Previous experience in warehouse starts ups
  • Strong data management skill/experience
  • Advanced knowledge of distribution and network strategy
  • Project Management certification
  • LEAN & Six Sigma experience or certification
