Overview:

The Accountant is supporting the EMEA Accounting Team, which is responsible for the US GAAP books supervision of EMEA Legal Entities and the preparation and delivery of the Statutory Books in compliance with local and corporate policies.

 

The Accounting Team has a key role in the delivery of all controllership activities in relation to the Legal Entities including Financial Accounting, Reporting and Internal Controls and supports business and accounting teams in all accounting matters, being the center of expertise.

Responsibilities:

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

 

  • Payroll Accounting
    • Review of all payroll output, investigation and correction of errors and posting payroll data in the Finance system
    • maintenance of payroll related accruals
    • Preparation of payroll account reconciliations in compliance with the Global Account Reconciliation Policy
    • Assist with restructuring programs
    • Support to Payroll related projects
  • Provide support to the Accounting Team, including analysis of balance sheet and income statements, preparation and filing of country specific Financial Statistics, Income Tax Accruals and payments
  • Provide support for external and internal audit
  • Interact with other finance and accounting personnel through the organization

Qualifications:

What YOU will bring to the team:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Accounting and financial reporting experience required
  • Experience in US GAAP
  • Previous experience in Big4 or multinational companies is a plus
  • Business proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of an additional European language is a plus
  • Good Microsoft Office skills required
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP is an asset
