Financial Analyst FP&A / Plant Controller

Overview:

In this role you will support manufacturing site leadership and finance business partners by performing plant controlling activities remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Business partner for Site Director and Manufacturing FP&A leadership
  • Lead and monitor the plants’ budget/forecast including overhead, energy, turnaround, Capex, depreciation, productivity
  • Drive for forecast accuracy and assure cost control
  • Supervise month end closing activities, coordinate accruals
  • Monthly/quarterly reporting activities
  • Support, review and approve site Capex, maintenance plans, project requests, key economic models
  • Drive site productivity by closely work with site productivity champion and operation team, lead productivity reporting, validation and idea generation                                          
  • Support SOX controls for the sites
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedure                                             
  • Support inventory counts from finance perspective. Monitor that site's inventory movements are accurately recorded, adjustments are properly booked and documented.
  • Coordinate fixed asset counts
  • Engage and collaborate with finance supporting functions (e.g. Accounting, Fixed Assets)
  • Business travel to the manufacturing site as required (1-2 times a year)

Qualifications:

 

  • BSc or MSc degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or equivalent is required
  • 5-6 years’ experience in financial controlling, FP&A, financial reporting, business analysis, plant controlling or general ledger accounting with financial reporting (P&L, OPEX, CAPEX)
  • Expert customer focus and software skills - MS Excel and SAP experience
  • Effective communication skills with all level of management, strong command of English
  • Understanding of finance and accounting operations
  • Detail oriented, strong analytical skills, comprehensive understanding of financial issues
