Responsibilities:

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

 

Account Planning and Management:

  • Primary contact for assigned accounts
  • Build & enhance Celanese relationship with key stakeholders at target accounts
  • General account management including negotiations, contracting, call reports and sampling
  • Create strong account plans and align the account strategy with internal cross-functional stakeholders
  • Create and maintain sales forecast
  • Prospecting new accounts

Pipeline Development:

  • Surface project ideas
  • Create/build, and manage opportunities in SFDC in close collaboration with the respective ADE
  • Introduce and sell new products to customers

Key account support / “value unlock”:

  • Support of Key Account Managers/ Account Managers with operational tasks
  • Support of pricing initiatives through SFDC
  • “Keeping the pulse” of order patterns
  • Overdue follow and handling escalation, provide information on financial situation of customers for credit risk assessment

Qualifications:

What YOU will bring to the team:

 

Education and Experience:

  • Ideally educated to BSc/MSc level (technical, scientific or business related field)
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Sales within the industry

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Interest in value selling and developing value propositions
  • Results driven, self-motivated with a growth mindset
  • “Hunter” mentality, ability to identify new key contacts and build useful relationships within customer organization (cross-functional)
  • Ability to effectively work both as an individual contributor and as an effective influencer of peers and professionals in other functions
  • Fluent French and English, additional languages a plus

 

Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Data analysis skills is an advantage
  • Curiosity; eager to learn
  • Persistent and resilient
