Responsibilities:

Opportunity to join the technology and innovation team at Celanese Spondon, looking for new products and new applications for a bio-degradable cellulose acetate film.  

 

  • Work within a small team to undertake the development of new products driven by specific customer, market or business requirements.
  • Perform accurate laboratory analysis in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Aid production with quality control and visual inspection regimes
  • Compile and present technical reports based on project findings to communicate results.
  • Provide technical support to the production facility in a problem-solving capacity.
  • Complete relevant tasks within the lab to ensure it is a clean and safe environment to work in.
  • Demonstrate adherence to site Health & Safety and good manufacturing practice policies and procedures. Support specific lab activities such as COSHH assessments

Qualifications:

  • Science-related A-levels / HNC or HND (or equivalent).

 

  • Willingness to learn analytical techniques and apply this knowledge to solve technical problems.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • excellent record-keeping skills and basic to good maths and computing skills.
  • time management skills to work on several different projects at once.
