Lead a group of Logistics Coordinators who execute delivery and logistics activities on road and intermodal transportation mode, ensuring on time shipment from the plants and shipping locations and on time delivery to internal and external customers.  Position will be responsible for day to day management of personnel in addition to resolving any escalated issues relating to transportation delays, equipment challenges or other issues impacting on time delivery to the customer.  This position will interface with their counterpart in order management leadership to develop and manage business processes that meet productivity and quality metrics ensuring a seamless order-to-deliver process resulting in excellent customer service in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

• Understand and oversee delivery processes and manage the team of logistics coordinators
• Ensure all safety, compliance and regulatory requirements are fulfilled
• Ensure SAP postings are executed in a timely manner aligned with revenue recognition rules and ensure timely discrepancy resolution
• Manage stakeholders from Customer Service, Sales, S&OP & Business and support achieving business imperatives
• Recommend process improvement including investigation of quality failures and the development of preventive and corrective actions for quality failures
• Balance workload distribution in the team
• Responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis

What YOU will bring to the team:

• Min. 3 years of Supply Chain experience, leadership experience is an advantage
• Good interpersonal skills, able to build good relationship with team members, peers and leaders 
• Fluent English, both written and verbal, German (written and verbal) knowledge is an advantage
• SAP and MS Excel knowledge
• Enjoys leading and developing people and ready to help the team through daily challenges
• Can-do and customer focused attitude
• Team player and solution oriented mindset
• Ability to solve problems, process changes, not afraid of out-of-the-box solutions
• Ability to assess issues, draw own conclusions and drive process improvements
• Ready to become a valuable member of the Logistics leadership team
