Responsibilities:

Celanese is looking for a talented, driven, and experienced Enterprise Change leader to join their organization to lead change activities globally.  In this role, you will lead the development and execution of change enablement strategies for the enterprise in support of various large-scale initiatives including Celanese's digital transformation, inorganic growth agenda, and more. You will develop effective change plans for engaging stakeholders on planned initiatives and working collaboratively to identify and overcome potential obstacles. This leader will assess change readiness and impending impact across the enterprise. The successful candidate will drive business transformation and enable the users to absorb the change. 

 

You will be responsible for building a new Transformational Change Management organization.  You will generate standard processes and templates for traditional change management (CM) such as Benefits Statement, Stakeholder Analysis and Engagement, Change Strategy/Plan, Communication Plan/Product, Change Impact Analysis, Gap Analysis, Training Plan, Production, Presentation, and Strategy/Tools to sustain the change.  You will also be expected to be creative and leverage communication channels, digital tools, and transformational change tactics that coincide with the Celanese culture and ways of working.

 

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

 

  • Engage with C-suite, senior leaders, and stakeholders to drive the change agenda
  • Partner with leaders as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor in:
    • Assessing and classifying the business change to determine the right change strategy and approach
    • Ensuring that the appropriate change management tools and methods are applied to all projects
    • Providing expert coaching and advice to help develop change management behaviors to professionals involved in project delivery
  • Drive business value and business outcomes through measurable change management activities, for both traditional and Agile deliveries through the project lifecycle and post go-live
  • Create an environment where members feel motivated, engaged, connected, able to perform to high levels, and to grow and develop in their roles.  Onboard, advise, coach, manage, and mentor more junior change managers to build the capability
  • Work closely and collaborate with peers leading change across other areas of Celanese’s business
  • Equip the business with the skills to better manage and sustain change
  • Servant leader, comfortable interacting in a consistently collaborative manner with all levels of the organization

Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in organizational Change Management, business, or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience with 5+ years of progressive change management experience leading cross enterprise functional diverse teams
  • Experience in leading change in large, complex organization undergoing significant transformation
  • Experience with acquisitions and managing the integration employee experience
  • Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines. Effectively coordinate multiple projects with interrelated teams and technology issues simultaneously within aggressive timelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Highly developed communication skills with the ability to articulate and concisely convey ideas
  • Prior leadership experience working seamlessly in a multinational organization across multiple time zones and cultures
