                                    We are looking for a Product Steward Emulsion Polymers EMEA

                          To support our team in Sulzbach

Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory tracking of mandatory & business critical Product Stewardship regulations, implementation and informing the Business
  • Tracking of product-relevant changes within internal MOC processes; implement & communicate impact to the business
  • Answering customer inquiries and advising customers in the regulatory area (internal and external)
  • Observing trends in customer inquiries to inform Business Unit about (new) market trends
  • Networking, representation of Product Stewardship and advocacy for Emulsion Polymers EMEA in industry associations (e.g. EPDLA, dt. Bauchemie, EDANA, etc.)
  • Creation of regulatory letters (e.g. ecolabel statements, food contact disclosures, etc.)
  • Carrying out product registrations and support of customers in this regard
  • SAP: Data management for Emulsion Polymers EMEA in SAP EHS system & system development work (e.g. composition creation for reacted materials etc.)
  • Development and maintenance of internal networks (e.g. R&D, production, marketing, etc.)
  • Creating decision templates for management

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in regulatory environment or similar
  • Master degree in Chemistry or comparable
  • Experience in regulatory contexts; Eager to expand the regulatory scope (for new application areas).
  • Able to create formal and informal networks with key decision makers, involving and coordinating different groups
  • Skills to communicate and present complex facts to divers recipients
  • Able to work independently and decision-making authority with regard to tasks and projects
  • Strong team player
  • Customer oriented (internal and external customers)
  • IT affinity, SAP EHS experience a plus
  • Knowledge of food contact regulations (esp. EU and US) and European chemicals legislation a plus
