• Act as Prime Technical Contact of Celanese at (mainly) E&E clients to build a personal network, identify development trends and drive specifications of Celanese material solutions
• Proactively create and support projects in close collaboration with the customer, applying the complete Celanese portfolio incl. engaged follow-ups
• Initiate and lead technical discussions with clients in order to understand their specific needs and coordinate internal collaboration/communication with other functions like Technology & Innovation, Account Managers, Product Specialist, Project Management et al.
• Identify and share detailed product specifications with Technology and Innovation team in order to develop value-added material innovations
• Support introduction and sale of new products to customers
• A bachelor or master’s degree in Plastic Engineering or Chemical Engineering with minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role or industry
• Profound knowledge in engineered plastics and polymer materials
• Expertise in E&E Technology and in working with E&E customers
• Ability to identify material and market trends and to align those with Celanese solutions
• Understanding of where customer assigns value (e.g. price, performance, surety of supply) to tailor value proposition and discussions
• Willing to prospect for new customers and develop strategies for identifying, targeting new customers
• High self-motivation and willingness for driving initiatives
• Prioritizing for value/Managing complexity
• Comfortable with working in a global matrix organization
• Good written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills in English, French and German (nice to have)
