Senior Specialist S&OP - Global Planning

to be located in Amsterdam, The Netherland

Responsibilities:

This means on a daily routine basis:

 

  • Develop the global 24-month supply plan for the production plants of the AT business to meet demand requirements for monthly S&OP. The supply plan includes working with site Manufacturing teams to determine the available production capacity, developing the global production plan, establishing monthly high level re-supply volumes, and managing overall inventory.
  • Accountable for global inventory management to ensure that Strategic Imperatives and key Working Capital metrics are met.
  • Responsible to coordinate with the Demand Planner to understand the monthly IBP global sales forecast and incorporate demand plan requirements into global supply planning.
  • Responsible to collaborate with the Regional Schedulers, provide the short-term tow planning requirements to allow preparation of detailed plant production schedules (at the SKU level) to meet IBP demand and align with the global S&OP plan.
  • Responsible for running tow planning scenarios to develop recommended solutions as needed to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Subject matter expert in planning, scheduling, supply chain
  • Knows ERP (SAP) concepts (demand, supply, MRP) and experience with ERP software and reporting tools
  • Ability to deliver results and to drive change in complex environments
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a constantly changing environment
  • Analytical Skills
  • Can align with the global/regional business and plant level strategy and is able to translate that down to planning the supply chain
  • Customer-focused and results oriented with a demonstrated ability to balance demand and supply through effective Resource and MRP management
  • Detailed knowledge of S&OP Process
  • People Management or Coordination skills are an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written English
