Currently we are looking for a

 

Senior Project Manager

 

to be located in Sulzbach (open to consider other locations in EU)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the execution of all support projects under their management, including:

  • Defining/refining project scope and project plan following RM-PMP or PTR process
  • Managing timeline, key milestones and budget
  • Identifying and deploying resources required to successfully execute project through the lifecycle
  • Identifying fast-fail candidates
  • Positively engage all key functions and stakeholders, resolves or escalates issues that might put project deliverables at risk
  • Support in building the project pipeline (create and revalidate Business Cases) by working closely with Procurement, T&I and BL team members and business leaders
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives. Use robust project management tools to define and refine the project scope, timeline, key milestones, and and budget and manage project risks.
  • Monitors regional productivity pipeline and productivity.Celanese.com database to ensure accountability and report on regional progress Vs goals (including preparation of reports and presentations to share with regional/functional leadership)
  • Participates in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to deliver team (and business) success in the areas of productivity and/or MOB and/or RevGen and/or PTRs
  • Influences for impact by partnering closely with procurement, T&I, CTG, MFG, Quality, Stewardship, P&L and other team leaders
  • May include other assigned projects to support EM success. Relies on significant influence without authority leadership and proven success in project management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or project management would be an advantage
  • Able to influence without formal authority
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize between multiple tasks
  • Manages complexity: Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to affectively solve problems
  • Manages ambiguity: Operating effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear
  • Troubleshooting/problem solving skills
  • SAP knowledge
  • Proficient use of MS Excel and ability to work with large data-sets
  • Fluent English is a must, Italian and German is preferable.
  • Strong communication skills (written/verbal)
