S&OP Processes & Governance Manager  

 

to be located in Amsterdam, but open to consider different locations in EU

Responsibilities:

The EM (Engineered Materials) S&OP Processes & Governance Manager is primarily responsible to ensure that the EM S&OP base business team is equipped with the appropriate data and process governance framework to allow the planning and scheduling functions to operate efficiently. 

 

This means:

  • Oversee that our regional teams comply to the same global standards by promoting adherence and limiting the level of customization in each region.
  • As part of the governance focus of this assignment, job responsibilities will include managing the relevant functional resources such as training material, starter’s tool kit (onboarding), data governance rules and relevant procedures, etc. and ensuring that we have a modernized platform to deliver trainings/refreshers, etc. as part of the long term strategy.
  • Lead and/or participate in process and system improvement within the realm of S&OP as well as its touchpoints with other functions, as well as being responsible for internal process audits and adherence KPIs.
  • As the Global Process Owner for the EM Business Rules, this individual will ensure that we continue driving value in this cross-functional discipline and via the network of regional councils.

Qualifications:

The right candidate for this role owns a university Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business Administration disciplines. This seasoned SC professional has an in-depth knowledge of End to End Supply Chain Processes. This is a highly motivated individual who looks for opportunities to drive improvements, is passionate about Masterdata and has a “Can Do” attitude."

The main requirements are:

  • 5 years’ experience in various supply chain roles (including S&OP) and/or consulting
  • Knowledgeable about Masterdata, planning & scheduling data (SAP MRP + reference data) in particular, as well as governance concepts
  • Has led cross-functional projects where an end to end SC know-how has proven to be vital
  • Well versed in project management applications such as Smartsheet as well as Microsoft Office
  • Excellent analytical skills including MS excel as well as problem solving skills
  • Well organized, structured and process oriented
  • Possesses the confidence to challenge the status quo
  • Develops innovative solutions to address gaps and optimizes work processes
  • Identifies and introduces best practices within the organization
  • Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with stakeholders from all levels of the organization
  • Has the ability to manage well through ambiguity
  • Continuous Process Improvement
