EMEA Communications Specialist

 

to be located in Amsterdam, The Netherland

Responsibilities:

The EMEA Communications Specialist will play a key role in supporting global engagement communications within the EMEA region. This role, located in Amsterdam, will be responsible for implementing strategic internal communications activities for the EMEA region.

The main activities are, but not limited to:

  • Drive and support planning and implementation of strategic internal communication and corporate engagement initiatives in the EMEA region, primarily supporting administrative locations
  • Consult, advise and support leaders and various departments with appropriate internal communications strategies, tactics and tools on regional or corporate topics
  • Serve on the internal editorial team and share content and editorial responsibilities for internal channels and outlets (i.e. company intranet, employee publications, etc.)
  • Serve as a backup for publishing intranet content as needed
  • Provide limited support for EMEA regional meetings and events, including leadership presentations and employee events
  • Provide limited support of community engagement and employer branding activities

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years professional experience in corporate communications, preferably in a corporate or agency environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications or related field
  • Fluent English (both written and verbal); multilingual skills highly desired
  • Excellent writing skills, great storyteller
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing, challenging but fun environment and can meet tight deadlines
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • A self-starter who can (and likes to) work independently
  • Fast learner with a structured work approach and mindset
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization, including regional senior leaders and external partners
  • Ability to build strong relationships; outgoing personality
  • Works well in a global team
  • Ability to travel
