Currently we are looking in Prague for candidates (home-office based) for the following position:


Senior Field Development Engineer



  • Create/Acquire and proactively support project opportunities in Autmotive E-Mobility segement, applying complete Celanese portfolio at Automotive accounts in Eastern Europe incl. engaged follow-up

  • Identify customers' needs and support creation of value proposition to satisfy expectations with Celanese material solutions
  • Build and cultivate personal network at customers' development centers with regular presence
  • Take ownership of applications segment (segment strategies, material expertise, application know-how, trends and developments)
  • Take initiative for internal collaboration/communication with Account Manager, OEM Manager, Product Specialist, Project Management.


  • Master's Degree in Plastics Engineering or similar 

  • 5 or more years of experience in Automotive Business, Application/ Material experience
  • Fluent in English, Czech, Polish. Languages as Slovak and Hungarian are a plus 
  • Expertise in polymer materials and plastics processing
  • Working Experience in Automotive TIERs and OEMs, Project Management
  • Technical expertise in Automotive applications such as structural parts as well as E-Mobility, Automotive customer project management, business acumen, personal contact network at Automotive part suppliers or OEMs
