Financial Analyst - IT

Responsibilities:

The Financial Analyst - IT position will be part of the IT team in Budapest and will collaborate with the Service Management team members globally in planning and controlling the IT AOP.  This position will work with the Sr. Manager to develop operational as well as modelling reports for the Sr. Directors and CIO.

 

In this position you will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing financial oversight for IT Strategic projects
  • AOP development, requisioning, purchase & renewal  tracking, forecasting, asset capitalization /retirements
  • Monitoring the overall health of the IT AOP
  • Guidance for IT program /project managers with tracking project financials
  • Interacting with the BP&A, Finance, Fixed Assets, and A/P teams when necessary

This role will also serve a strategic function in assisting the Sr. Manager improve the efficiency of the current Service Management processes and streamline spending/requisitioning processes.

Qualifications:

You can continue your professional career in this position, having 2+ years of experience in working with IT costs as a Financial Analyst, and graduated in IT or Finance field.

 

You will need:

  • Fluent English skills
  • General understanding of Information Technology (IT) and IT equipment
  • Strong software skills - especially in MS Excel
  • SAP experience in finance, project systems and material handling
  • Detail oriented
  • Analytical attitude
  • Ability to work effectively in an international team

 

Ideally you’ll also have:

  • Desire to grow / learn Information Technology (IT)
  • Ability to work effectively in an international team environment                                                                             
  • Experience in finance and accounting operations an advantage                                                                     
  • Strong customer focus
